Brewer Science opens new manufacturing center in Rolla

Brewer Science is set to open the doors to a new 25,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that will create 65 new high-tech Missouri jobs in the production of materials for next-generation smartphones and other microelectronic devices.
The new facility hosted media and invited in early May during a special ribbon-cutting event followed by tours of the manufacturing center.
With its headquarters in Rolla, Mo., Brewer Science is a global technology leader in developing and manufacturing innovative materials, processes, and equipment for the reliable fabrication of cutting-edge microdevices used in electronics such as tablet computers, smartphones, digital cameras, televisions, and LED lighting.
Inside the new center, Brewer Science will produce specialty materials used in the creation of advanced microdevices, including next-generation smartphones, tablet computers, and other microelectronics.
The facility will serve as an anchor for a new business park at the Rolla Airport Technology and Industrial Park. Brewer Science leaders said the expansion will accommodate product demand growth and demonstrates the company’s commitment to continuous improvement. Brewer Science supports its worldwide customers through a service and distribution network in North America, Europe, and Asia.
The new manufacturing center represents Brewer Science’s eighth expansion in Missouri since the company’s inception over 30 years ago.
