2015 Leadership Missouri program kicks off in Jefferson City celebrating 25 years

Current and up-and-coming business leaders from across the state joined together this week for the first segment of the Leadership Missouri program. As part of their stay, the Leadership Missouri class met with key leaders of the state, including Attorney General Chris Koster, State Treasurer Clint Zweifel, Missouri Budget Director Linda Lubbering and lawmakers in the State Capitol.

On Tuesday evening, the group arrived in Jefferson City and enjoyed a group dinner and presentation on True Colors by SFC Dan Thompson of the Missouri National Guard. During their visit to the capitol they participated in a mock simulation on the House floor courtesy of Chief Clerk Adam Crumbliss, who is a 2005 alumni of the program. The group toured the State Capitol building, Supreme Court, Jefferson City Correctional Center, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Missouri National Guard Ike Skelton Center, among other locations around the area.
