The 2018 Transportation Future Summit brought stakeholders together in Jefferson City on Feb. 22 to discuss the future of our state’s infrastructure. The event included a keynote presentation from Ed Mortimer of the US Chamber of Commerce about upcoming changes to federal transportation funding. Other speakers including, MoDOT Director Patrick McKenna, discussed our state’s airports, the challenges involved with powering electric cars, autonomous vehicles and the proposed Hyperloop connecting Kansas City and St. Louis.
