The EF-3 tornado that struck Jefferson City on May 22, 2019 did extensive damage to the business district and homes that neighbor the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry building. The Missouri Chamber was fortunate to suffer only minor damage in the storm. Donations to help Jefferson City’s recovery can be made to the United Way of Central Missouri’s Disaster Recovery Fund or to the American Red Cross Central and Northern Missouri Chapter.
