Capitol repairs underway in Jefferson City

After more than a century of wear and tear, the exterior of the historic Missouri capitol building is getting much-needed restorations. In 2014, $40 million was appropriated as part of a bipartisan-supported bond package to fund the Missouri State Capitol Construction Project. The repairs will extend the life of the building, fix deteriorating stonework, and improve overall appearance and stability.
