Capitol repairs underway in Jefferson City

After more than a century of wear and tear, the exterior of the historic Missouri capitol building is getting much-needed restorations. In 2014, $40 million was appropriated as part of a bipartisan-supported bond package to fund the Missouri State Capitol Construction Project. The repairs will extend the life of the building, fix deteriorating stonework, and improve overall appearance and stability.

STEM Excellence Pathway Workshop comes to Hannibal

On March 8 at Hannibal-LaGrange University, Northeast Missouri educators assessed their program offerings, brainstormed how to integrate STEM curriculum across disciplines, grade-levels and schools, and exchanged ideas with other schools in the region.
